Sanctuary, a performance, recovery and social club rooted in the Puget Sound region, has announced plans for a new location in Seattle’s Denny Triangle neighborhood. The concept is scheduled to open in Spring 2027 within the Metropolitan Park North building at 1827 Yale Ave, expanding the brand’s footprint in the city.
The forthcoming club represents an investment of approximately $8 million. Sanctuary’s new Seattle location is planned as a comprehensive wellness destination focused on both physical performance and recovery, alongside social and community-oriented uses. The club is expected to combine training, restorative amenities and gathering areas under a single membership model.
The project team includes NAGELSport, which has been selected as the architecture firm, and Avara Construction, which is serving as the general contractor. Hughes Marino is overseeing leasing on behalf of the property’s owner, Hudson Pacific, aligning the new concept with the building’s broader strategy for tenant and user activation.
Sanctuary’s plans call for a mix of wellness and lifestyle amenities. The facility is slated to include a mineral pool, Himalayan salt sauna, eucalyptus steam room, Jacuzzi, lap pool, cold showers and multiple relaxation areas designed for recovery and decompression. These offerings are intended to support a range of performance and wellness routines, from intensive training to low-impact restoration.
In addition to wellness and recovery spaces, the club is expected to incorporate a beverage bar, dedicated coworking lounges and social areas. These elements are positioned to create an environment where members can combine fitness, work and social interaction in a single setting, reflecting evolving use patterns in urban lifestyle and wellness facilities.
Describing the concept, Sanctuary founder Glen Swain said the club was created to deliver a complete wellness system aimed at strengthening both mind and body. He emphasized that the environment is designed to support how members train and how they live, underscoring a holistic approach that blends physical performance, recovery and everyday lifestyle needs within the new Denny Triangle location.
