**Schneider Electric Expands El Paso Presence with New $50.3M Factory**

Schneider Electric is deepening its roots in El Paso with plans to construct a fifth factory on the city’s west side, bringing 500 new jobs to the region and growing the company’s local workforce to 2,000 employees. This latest expansion marks another milestone in Schneider’s ongoing investment in the energy and data center sectors.

According to the El Paso Times, the project represents a $50.3 million investment, with $25.7 million allocated for construction and another $24.6 million for equipment. The move is part of Schneider Electric’s broader $700 million initiative to expand and modernize its operations across the United States through 2027.

Site preparation is already underway at the 16-acre property located at 1625 N. Resler Drive and Northern Pass Drive within the Northwestern Corporate Center industrial park. The new facility will span 273,442 square feet and sit behind Schneider’s newest factory, which opened in 2023, and near its other three production sites in the area.

To support the project, Schneider Electric will receive $4.3 million in incentives from city, county, and state sources.
