GPI Companies, in collaboration with University of California, San Diego, has successfully developed a new academic facility at 8980 Villa La Jolla Dr. This nine-story building spans 114,000 square feet and is prominently situated at the intersection of La Jolla Village Drive and Villa La Jolla Drive in San Diego. Its prime location directly across from the university makes it a gateway to the main campus.
The project was designed by Gensler’s San Diego office and constructed by Swinerton Builders under the management of JLL. The building features space for academics, administration, and research activities. It will serve as a central hub for students, faculty members,and patients while also housing various programs offered by UC San Diego Health Sciences and UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies.
