Oldham Goodwin is nearing completion of a new SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel in New Braunfels River Village, with opening targeted for January 2027. The eight-story, 150-key property is rising along the Guadalupe River at 738 I-35 N. frontage road, positioning the hotel with direct access to a key regional thoroughfare and riverfront views.
The SpringHill Suites by Marriott New Braunfels River Village will introduce an upper-moderate, select-service all-suites offering to the area. According to MMGC Invest, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott brand operates in an upper-moderate and upscale select-service niche, intended to bridge the market gap between standard economy hotels and full-service lifestyle properties.
Dining at the property will be anchored by Paloma Suerte, a Tex-Mex restaurant concept based in Fort Worth. The restaurant will be complemented by a two-tier pool featuring a bar and private cabanas, reinforcing the hotel’s leisure-focused positioning along the Guadalupe River.
Wellness and event amenities are central to the hotel’s program. Plans call for a 1,328-square-foot fitness center and approximately 4,400 square feet of dedicated event space. Select guestrooms will offer private balconies overlooking the Guadalupe River, providing river views for guests and enhancing the appeal for both leisure visitors and small group business.
The hotel will sit just a short drive from several regional attractions, including Schlitterbahn, the Gruene Historic District, and the Comal River. This location links the property to established tourism and entertainment demand generators in and around New Braunfels.
By bringing the SpringHill Suites by Marriott flag to New Braunfels River Village with on-site dining, meeting space, and river-oriented amenities, the project adds a branded, all-suites option to the local hospitality landscape ahead of its planned January 2027 opening.
