**Vanesa Rodriguez Joins Colliers Central Florida Retail Team**
Vanesa Rodriguez has joined Colliers as Associate Vice President of Retail Services in Central Florida. She becomes a part of The Gabbai-Fonseca Retail Team, alongside David Gabbai, Alexie Fonseca, and Jeff Johnson. Rodriguez will focus on both tenant and landlord representation, helping to grow existing relationships and uncover new opportunities in the Central Florida retail market.
**Stonemont Financial Group Delivers 429 Business Center in Ocoee**
Stonemont Financial Group has completed development of the 429 Business Center, a 259,255-square-foot industrial complex located in Ocoee, a suburb of Orlando. The seven-building project is 49% pre-leased just months after breaking ground in early 2024. Located within the State Road 429 corridor, the development is being leased by JLL’s Cam Montgomery and Matt Sullivan. HGR Construction, Inc. served as the project’s general contractor.
**Curran Young Construction Breaks Ground on $46M Fort Myers Redevelopment**
Curran Young Construction has begun construction on 5300 Summerlin Apartments, a $46 million affordable housing redevelopment in Fort Myers. The project will replace a dated 172-unit property with 230 modern apartment units across three new buildings. Amenities for residents will include a 4,396-square-foot clubhouse, community gardens, a large dog park, covered pavilions, and grilling areas. Completion is expected within 22 months.
**UHealth Opens SoLé Mia Ambulatory Center in South Florida**
The University of Miami Health System has officially opened UHealth SoLé Mia, a seven-story, 363,000-square-foot ambulatory facility in South Florida. It is now the largest ambulatory center in UHealth’s network. Key services include the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (the region’s only NCI-designated center), the nationally top-ranked Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and the Desai Sethi Urology Institute, which offers advanced urologic care.
**Core Spaces and Harrison Street to Develop Hub Tampa Fowler**
A joint venture between Core Spaces and Harrison Street will develop Hub Tampa Fowler, a 1,195-bed student housing community just west of the University of South Florida’s main campus in Tampa. The purpose-built development is aimed at improving student access to campus housing and is scheduled for completion in 2027.
