**Chesapeake Science Point Expands with New Hanover Campus**

The Chesapeake Lighthouse Foundation has announced a significant expansion of its Chesapeake Science Point Middle and High School. The organization has secured a full-building lease for a 56,964-square-foot facility located at 7320 Parkway Drive in Hanover, Maryland. The agreement was made with St. John Properties, Inc., which owns and manages the property.

Real estate professionals played key roles in facilitating the transaction: Lacey Johansson of St. John Properties represented the landlord, while Chuck Breitenother and Austin Eber of NAI KLNB represented the Chesapeake Lighthouse Foundation.

Situated just off Maryland Route 100 in the Route 295 corridor, the property features 10-foot ceiling heights and ample free surface parking. Its strategic location offers convenient access to several major cities, including Columbia (13 miles), downtown Baltimore (15 miles), Bowie (20 miles), and Annapolis (27 miles).

“St. John Properties’ in-house design and construction teams worked seamlessly with the Chesapeake Science Point Charter School to deliver two new school buildings at Arundel Overlook in 2023,” said Matt Lenihan, Senior Vice President of Leasing at St. John Properties.

With this lease, the foundation takes another step forward in its mission to provide STEM-focused education in innovative, high-quality learning environments.
