**Core Spaces Proposes Student Housing Tower on Former Cheetah Club Site**

Core Spaces, in partnership with Capstone Communities, has submitted plans to the City of Atlanta to redevelop the current site of the iconic Cheetah Club. The redevelopment proposal includes the construction of a 27-story student housing tower, named Hub Spring Street, designed to accommodate Georgia Tech students.

The proposed development will feature over 1,000 beds across 532 units, ranging from studio apartments to six-bedroom layouts. In addition to the residential units, the plan includes 6,500 square feet of retail space intended to activate the street-level experience.

Among the tower’s planned amenities are a swimming pool located on the 27th floor and a hot tub on the 26th floor, providing panoramic views of the Atlanta skyline.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the project is anticipated to be a multi-year effort. A portion of the site, located at the corner of Spring Street and 8th Street, is being reserved for a future development phase, though a timeline for this expansion has not yet been determined.

Given the site’s close proximity to the Midtown MARTA station, the developers are not required to include on-site parking facilities in their plans.

This project represents a significant investment in student-oriented housing in Midtown Atlanta, aligning with ongoing urban development efforts and increased demand for walkable, transit-accessible communities.
