Corbus Pharmaceuticals has renewed its 36,471-square-foot lease at 500 River Ridge Dr. in Norwood, MA, maintaining its presence within the River Ridge Office Park. The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company has been a tenant at River Ridge for more than a decade and is extending its commitment to the location as it advances its research programs.
Colliers represented Corbus Pharmaceuticals in the renewal transaction. The tenant representation team was led by vice chair Curtis Cole, with vice president Sean Hannigan and senior vice president Tim Allen also advising the company. Their role focused on aligning the lease terms and location with Corbus Pharmaceuticals’ current and future operational requirements.
On the ownership side, JLL represented the landlord, River Ridge Limited Partnership. The JLL team was led by Nat Kessler, who acted on behalf of the property owner in negotiating the renewal. The continued tenancy of a long-standing life sciences user adds stability to the occupancy profile at River Ridge Office Park.
Corbus Pharmaceuticals is focused on developing innovative treatments for cancer and obesity. The company described the renewal as consistent with its intention to remain committed to the Greater Boston market, where it can support the infrastructure needed to advance its research pipeline. Maintaining its base at 500 River Ridge Dr. is positioned as an important element in sustaining its ongoing operations.
Hannigan noted that the renewal effort centered on ensuring that both the lease structure and the Norwood location supported Corbus Pharmaceuticals’ business needs over the long term. He emphasized that 500 River Ridge continues to function as a solid operational hub for the company’s team as it pursues its research and development objectives.
The transaction underscores the role of established suburban office parks in supporting specialized life sciences users that require stable, fit-for-purpose space. For River Ridge Office Park, the long-term retention of a biopharmaceutical tenant reinforces the property’s position within the Greater Boston life sciences and healthcare ecosystem.
