CRE Market Beat Take
Strong 2026 leasing at 560 Lexington, capped by Savills’ expansion, reinforces that well-located Plaza District towers continue to capture demand even as broader office leasing remains uneven.

Savills is expanding its Manhattan presence with a new lease at 560 Lexington Avenue, a 22-story office tower in the Plaza District. The global real estate advisory firm has signed a five-year agreement with Rudin to occupy 20,481 square feet, taking the entire third floor of the building. The new office is located just a few blocks from Savills’ U.S. headquarters at 399 Park Avenue, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to maintaining a strong footprint in New York City.

The lease at 560 Lexington Avenue adds to a busy year of activity at the property. According to Rudin, more than 110,000 square feet of transactions have been completed at the building in 2026. This level of leasing underscores ongoing tenant interest in the Plaza District, one of Manhattan’s most established office corridors, and highlights sustained demand for space in well-located towers.

Rudin, the owner and operator of a significant New York office portfolio, continues to focus on attracting and retaining tenants at 560 Lexington. Commenting on the transaction, Kevin Daly, Vice President of Office Leasing at Rudin, emphasized the importance of the new tenancy. He noted that welcoming Savills, described as a global leader in real estate, reflects positively on the property and on Rudin’s approach to managing tenant relationships.

Daly also pointed to the building’s Plaza District location, ownership and service model as key factors supporting leasing momentum. He stated that the recent wave of activity at 560 Lexington demonstrates Rudin’s ability to attract new tenants and maintain long-term commitments. The office tower is positioned to appeal to firms seeking proximity to Midtown’s corporate base and professional services ecosystem.

Savills represented itself in the transaction, underscoring the firm’s in-house expertise in site selection and lease negotiations. On the ownership side, Rudin was represented in-house by Kevin Daly and Craig Panzirer, Senior Vice President and Head of Office Leasing. They were joined by a CBRE team that included Brett Shannon, Peter Turchin, Eric Deutsch, Lauren Levy and Jacob Rosenthal, who supported the leasing effort at 560 Lexington.

With Savills committing to the entire third floor, 560 Lexington Avenue adds another notable tenant to its roster, contributing to the property’s overall leasing momentum in 2026. The transaction highlights the continued relevance of centrally located Plaza District towers for global firms looking to reinforce or expand their New York City office presence.
