Anthropologie has been selected as a new retailer at Bluhawk, the 277-acre mixed-use destination in Overland Park, Kansas. The company behind the project announced that the modern, design-led lifestyle brand plans to join the development in summer 2027. The new store will represent Anthropologie’s third location in the Kansas City area.
The upcoming Anthropologie store is planned for a prominent spot at the center of the Bluhawk development. Project leadership describes the brand as a strong match for the destination’s evolving tenant mix, noting its emphasis on fashion, home, and lifestyle merchandise. According to Kent Price, president of Price Brothers, the developer and manager of Bluhawk, the addition aligns with the strategy of broadening the retail offering across the project.
Anthropologie is expected to enhance Bluhawk’s positioning as a fashion and lifestyle hub as the mixed-use destination continues to grow. The retailer will join a lineup of recently announced national brands at Bluhawk, including L.L.Bean, Barnes & Noble, J.Crew Factory and the newly opened Buckle. The combination of these tenants reflects an expanding roster of soft goods and specialty retailers at the project.
Bluhawk is a master-planned development that integrates a range of uses beyond retail. In addition to shopping and dining, the destination features a multi-sport and entertainment complex designed to draw visitors to the site. The overall plan also includes residential, office, hospitality, healthcare, green space, and other amenities intended to create a comprehensive mixed-use environment.
Price Brothers continues to advance the development and merchandising of Bluhawk as new tenants are announced and open for business. The addition of Anthropologie underscores ongoing interest from national retailers in positioning within the project. As Bluhawk builds out its mix of uses and brands, the destination aims to offer a blend of lifestyle, entertainment, and daily-use services within a single master-planned setting in Overland Park.
