Hunneman has expanded its Leasing & Advisory team with the addition of Jon Pezzoni as senior vice president and principal, bringing a seasoned advisor with more than a decade of experience in Greater Boston’s office, R&D and industrial markets. The firm announced that Pezzoni will be focused on applying his market knowledge and advisory experience to support clients across these asset types, reflecting Hunneman’s continued emphasis on integrated leasing and advisory services.
Pezzoni joins Hunneman from Avison Young, where he most recently served as a senior vice president. Since 2014, he has advised tenants, landlords and developers throughout the Metro West, 495 West and 495 South submarkets of Greater Boston, helping stakeholders shape and execute real estate strategies. His work has centered on positioning assets to maximize value, with an emphasis on understanding how office, R&D and industrial uses align with evolving occupier requirements in those submarkets.
Hunneman highlighted Pezzoni’s long-standing presence in the Metro West market and his track record across multiple property types as core reasons for the hire. The firm noted that his advisory work has involved both sides of the table, supporting owners seeking to enhance asset performance as well as occupiers evaluating space solutions in competitive submarkets along the Route 495 corridor.
Steve Prozinski, Hunneman’s CEO and COO, said that Pezzoni has earned a strong reputation in the Metro West area by consistently delivering results for clients. Prozinski cited Pezzoni’s expertise across office, R&D and industrial properties, along with his collaborative working style and local relationships, as a strong fit for the firm’s platform. He added that Hunneman expects Pezzoni to add meaningful value to the firm’s clients as well as to the broader organization.
The appointment underscores Hunneman’s continued investment in its leasing and advisory capabilities as activity in Greater Boston’s office, R&D and industrial segments remains closely watched by tenants, landlords and developers across the Metro West and 495 corridors.
