Baker Katz has elevated John Frazier and Lunden McGill to principals, recognizing their longstanding roles in expanding the firm’s tenant representation platform and regional footprint. Stream Realty Partners has appointed veteran finance executive Damien Matherne as Chief Financial Officer, based in the firm’s Dallas headquarters. In his new role, Matherne will oversee corporate accounting, treasury and cash management, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting and enterprise financial systems. He joins Stream from Clean Scapes, where he also served as Chief Financial Officer, and brings more than three decades of experience building and leading finance and accounting organizations across multiple industries. His background spans corporate accounting, treasury management, operational strategy and enterprise systems implementation.

On the investment-sales front, Marcus & Millichap has closed the sale of Parker Square Shopping Center, a 94,532-square-foot multi-tenant retail property in Wichita Falls, Texas. The 23-suite center sits on almost 12 acres and was reported to be 97% occupied at the time of the transaction. Investment specialists Chris Gainey and Philip Levy marketed the asset, while the buyer and seller were not disclosed. The sale of a largely leased property of this scale underscores continued investor interest in stabilized neighborhood and community retail in secondary Texas markets.

In the construction and project delivery arena, Catamount Constructors has promoted Jonathan Svoboda to Project Executive for the company’s San Antonio business unit. Svoboda brings 25 years of construction experience and is noted for leading complex assignments, building teams and driving results for clients. Since joining Catamount in 2020, he has steadily taken on greater leadership responsibilities, moving from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager in 2023 before this latest promotion. His expanded role reflects ongoing activity and demand for experienced leadership within Catamount’s San Antonio portfolio.
