Stonemont has started construction on a new medical campus in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, advancing its healthcare-focused development pipeline. The project consists of a 53,370-square-foot neighborhood hospital and a 47,000-square-foot medical outpatient building that together will bring more than 100,000 square feet of healthcare space to the community. Stonemont is working with the Sina Companies and Fengate Asset Management to deliver the facilities for Jupiter Medical Center, with completion targeted by 2028.
The neighborhood hospital is planned as a two-story facility designed to provide around-the-clock emergency care and inpatient services. It will feature a 24-hour emergency department supported by 29 inpatient beds, multiple operating rooms and a diagnostic lab. Imaging rooms will also be included to support a range of diagnostic and acute care needs on site. The configuration is intended to provide a neighborhood-scaled alternative to larger hospital campuses while still offering a broad mix of core clinical services.
Adjacent to the hospital, the three-story medical outpatient building is programmed to house physician offices and specialty practices. The MOB will accommodate providers focused on women’s health, wound care, pain management, oncology, cardiology and primary care. By concentrating these specialties near the neighborhood hospital, the campus is expected to support coordinated care and create a single location for patients to access both hospital-based and outpatient services.
Both the neighborhood hospital and the outpatient building are being developed within Avenir, a 4,752-acre master-planned community in Palm Beach Gardens. The siting within a large, planned community positions the facilities to serve existing residents and future households as the area continues to build out. The medical campus is intended to extend Jupiter Medical Center’s reach into this growing part of the market while providing local access to a range of clinical services.
The Palm Beach Gardens project comes as Stonemont continues to expand its healthcare platform during 2025 and 2026. In addition to its current ground-up development, the firm has recently completed several medical office acquisitions in Georgia. These include the purchase of a 24,622-square-foot medical office building in Canton, the acquisition of a 60,000-square-foot medical office building from Northside Hospital in Smyrna, and the acquisition of the 103,000-square-foot East Cobb Medical Center in Marietta. Collectively, these transactions illustrate Stonemont’s strategy of combining new development with targeted acquisitions of existing medical office properties.
With the Palm Beach Gardens medical campus underway and multiple recent MOB acquisitions closed, Stonemont is positioning its healthcare portfolio across both Florida and Georgia. The company’s collaboration with the Sina Companies and Fengate Asset Management, along with its work on behalf of Jupiter Medical Center, underscores ongoing activity in the healthcare real estate sector focused on hospitals, outpatient care and specialty physician space.
