Midway has completed CITYCENTRE Six, a 19-story office tower in Houston, with the first occupants scheduled to move in on May 1. The new Class A office building opens with strong leasing momentum, as Midway reports the tower is already 90% leased ahead of its initial occupancy date. Early tenants include Dow, VoltaGrid, Octave and Enverus, reflecting a mix of energy, technology and analytics users committing to the project.
The design and construction of CITYCENTRE Six involved a team of established Houston-area players. Kirksey served as the architect of record, while Munoz + Albin Architecture and Planning acted as the design architect. D.E. Harvey Builders was the general contractor, delivering the high-rise tower as part of the broader CITYCENTRE master-planned environment.
On the leasing side, Midway was represented by Michael Anderson and the Partners Real Estate team, who led efforts to secure tenants for the building. Dow was represented by Ronnie Deyo and Lonna Jenks of JLL, with Newmark serving as national account partner. VoltaGrid was represented by Gary Lawless Jr. and Dustin Cruz with Cresa, while Octave’s lease was handled by Kevin Saxe of CBRE. Enverus was represented by JLL’s Samuel Slovacek and Mark Harris, underscoring the broad participation of national brokerage firms in the building’s lease-up.
In addition to office space, CITYCENTRE Six incorporates approximately 12,000 square feet of street-level retail and restaurant space. This ground-floor component is designed to complement the tower’s office users and the surrounding CITYCENTRE environment by providing additional dining and shopping options integrated into the mixed-use setting.
Midway is also advancing predevelopment work on additional office opportunities within CITYCENTRE. While specific details on future phases were not disclosed, the ongoing planning activity indicates that Midway is positioning the district for continued office expansion as demand supports new deliveries.
