GFP Real Estate has arranged a new long-term office commitment at 515 Madison Avenue, with Zimmet Law Group P.C. signing a 10-year lease for 5,476 square feet in Manhattan’s Plaza District. The law firm will relocate its Manhattan office from 477 Madison Avenue to Suite 603 on the building’s sixth floor, with occupancy expected after the build-out of its new premises is completed later this year.
The lease gives Zimmet Law Group a full-floor presence in the midtown tower’s Plaza District location, maintaining the firm’s footprint along the Madison Avenue corridor while updating its workspace. The move reflects a strategic relocation within the same office district rather than an expansion into a new submarket, as the firm shifts only a few blocks from its current address at 477 Madison Avenue.
GFP Real Estate handled negotiations on behalf of the landlord through its in-house leasing team. Martin McGrath and Kephra Stone, both with GFP Real Estate, represented the building ownership in the transaction, coordinating lease terms and securing the law firm’s long-term commitment for the sixth-floor space.
Zimmet Law Group was represented by Savitt Partners, with broker Elliot Zelinger advising the tenant in the transaction. Zelinger’s role included advocating for Zimmet Law Group’s requirements in the new office, including location, space size, and lease structure, and aligning those needs with the landlord’s offerings at 515 Madison Avenue.
Commenting on the transaction, McGrath said that Zimmet Law Group’s decision to commit to a long-term lease at 515 Madison Avenue highlights both the building’s appeal and the ongoing strength of the Plaza District as an office destination. He noted that professional services firms continue to seek out high-quality, well-located office space, positioning buildings such as 515 Madison Avenue to remain competitive as tenants evaluate long-term office strategies.
The deal underscores continued leasing activity among professional services users in prime Midtown office corridors, with law firms in particular maintaining a presence in established business districts. For 515 Madison Avenue, the Zimmet Law Group lease adds another professional services tenant to the roster and extends occupancy visibility on the sixth floor for the next decade.
