CapRock Partners Management plans to break ground this spring on a $30 million speculative industrial park near McKinney National Airport, aiming to capitalize on growing activity at the Dallas–Fort Worth-area facility. The airport has signed an agreement with one airline and is in discussions with several others. It is undergoing a major expansion, including construction of a 46,000-square-foot commercial terminal expected to open this fall. By 2031, the expanded airport could serve up to 1 million passengers annually.
The warehouse project will consist of two industrial buildings totaling approximately 250,000 square feet on a 15-acre site. Fort Worth-based Muckleroy & Falls is serving as the general contractor. CapRock Partners acquired the property last summer.
McKinney Air Business Park is designed to accommodate a wide range of users, from tenants needing as little as 20,000 square feet to a single occupant requiring nearly 140,000 square feet.
