LegacyFirst Launches as Independent Real Estate Platform Following Spinout from MacFarlane Partners

LegacyFirst, a vertically integrated real estate platform, has officially launched as an independent entity following a strategic spinout from MacFarlane Partners. The firm will operate independently and has been purpose-built to work with family offices, select institutional investors, corporations, large nonprofits, and government entities. Its mission is to transform underutilized or undervalued commercial real estate into long-term, self-sustaining economic assets.

Founded and led by Landon Taylor, LegacyFirst focuses on delivering strategic investment and commercial real estate service solutions. Joining the leadership team is Murad Siam, Co-Chairman and minority equity partner, who brings over four decades of institutional experience in the industry. Siam is also the Founder and Co-CEO of IDS Real Estate Group.

LegacyFirst is currently engaged in a robust pipeline of opportunities. These include marketplace design and entitlement land acquisitions, mission-driven development partnerships, and the acquisition of core and core-plus assets in key U.S. gateway cities.

The firm is advised by a Board of Strategic Advisors composed of leaders from both the private and public sectors, offering expertise across large-scale development, capital markets, and institutional governance.
