**Whitestone REIT Acquires World Cup Plaza in Frisco, Texas**

Whitestone REIT has acquired World Cup Plaza, a restaurant-anchored retail center located in Frisco, Texas. The property is strategically situated adjacent to Toyota Stadium, the 21,000-seat home of Major League Soccer’s FC Dallas. This venue is currently undergoing a $182 million renovation aimed at enhancing the fan experience and will serve as an official World Cup Team Base Camp. The renovated stadium is expected to attract more than 1.4 million visitors annually and will provide participating teams with top-tier training facilities.

World Cup Plaza spans 90,391 square feet and is located at the northeast corner of Main Street and the Dallas North Tollway. It sits directly across from Frisco Square, a 147-acre pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use development that includes 1.5 million square feet of office space and 1,400 residential units.

Originally developed in 2007, World Cup Plaza features a diverse mix of retailers and restaurants. Notable tenants include Blue Goose Cantina, The Green Gator, The NOW Massage, Hikari Sushi & Grill, Lemma Coffee Roasters, Rotate Bar & Kitchen, Frisco Soccer Association, and Wells Fargo.

This acquisition expands Whitestone’s footprint in the area, as the company already owns four other shopping centers nearby.
