**IBM Accelerates Move to New Austin Offices at Domain 12**

IBM Corp. is advancing its relocation timeline to move into the Domain 12 tower in Austin, taking over the space initially planned for Meta Platforms Inc., which ultimately never occupied it. Initially scheduled to move in 2027, IBM will now make the transition in 2025.

The tech giant signed a lease for the Domain 12 property after an extensive office search that began in 2022. IBM plans to invest $40 million to renovate the 320,000 square feet of space in the tower, which is owned by Cousins Properties.

In 2023, IBM had reached a pre-lease agreement for the same amount of space in a proposed office development in The Domain by Houston-based real estate developer Hines. However, that project was never realized, and the lease was subsequently terminated.

In addition to the upcoming relocation, IBM currently occupies a 490,000-square-foot building at 11400 Burnet Road, owned by Stonelake Capital Partners.
