**Subtext Opens VERVE Ann Arbor Student Housing Near University of Michigan**

Subtext has officially opened VERVE Ann Arbor, a 12-story, 741-bed student housing development located near the University of Michigan campus. Situated at 721 South Forest Street, the 328,264-square-foot property includes 217 residential units with layouts ranging from studios to six-bedroom apartments.

Marking a first-of-its-kind amenity for the company, VERVE Ann Arbor features a ground-level, full-service lobby coffee shop operated by Misfit Society Coffee Club, offering a unique experience for residents and visitors.

VERVE Ann Arbor was developed through a partnership with FrontRange Capital and Kayne Anderson Real Estate, with financial backing provided by Webster Bank. WDG Architecture was responsible for the building’s design, ESG Architecture & Design led the interior work, and Brinkmann Constructors served as the general contractor.

This project is Subtext’s third development in Ann Arbor and includes a variety of amenity spaces. Highlights include a rooftop pool deck complete with a hot tub, outdoor kitchen and grilling stations, poolside jumbotron, lawn games, lounge areas, and an expansive clubroom.

“VERVE represents the culmination of that experience—a next-level development that redefines what student housing can be,” said Brandt Stiles, Founding Partner at Subtext.
