**Core Spaces Seeks Approval for Georgia Tech Student Housing on Cheetah Club Site**

Core Spaces, in collaboration with Capstone Communities, is proposing a major redevelopment project in Atlanta that would transform the current site of the Cheetah Club into a high-rise student housing complex. The proposed development, named Hub Spring Street, aims to serve Georgia Tech students and contribute to revitalizing the Midtown area.

The plans call for a 27-story tower that will include over 1,000 beds across 532 residential units, with configurations ranging from studios to six-bedroom options. In addition to the living spaces, the building will feature roughly 6,500 square feet of retail space designed to enhance the pedestrian experience along Spring Street.

Amenities in the building are set to include a pool on the 27th floor, offering expansive skyline views, and a hot tub situated on the 26th floor.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, this development is expected to be a multiyear project. The initial phase will occupy the southeastern portion of the lot, located at the corner of Spring Street and 8th Street. A second phase is planned for the northwest portion of the site at a future date yet to be determined.

Notably, developers are not required to provide onsite parking, as the site is located near the Midtown MARTA station, allowing it to leverage public transportation infrastructure.

This proposal highlights the ongoing transformation of Midtown Atlanta into a more densely populated and transit-friendly urban environment.
