Stonemont Financial Group has completed construction on the 429 Business Center, a 259,255-square-foot industrial complex located in Ocoee, just outside Orlando. The development, which broke ground in 2024, is currently 49% pre-leased and features seven buildings situated within the State Road 429 corridor. Cam Montgomery and Matt Sullivan of JLL are managing leasing operations, while HGR Construction, Inc. served as the general contractor for the project.
– **Curran Young Construction Begins Affordable Housing Redevelopment**
Curran Young Construction has broken ground on the 5300 Summerlin Apartments, a $46 million redevelopment project in Fort Myers. This initiative will transform an existing 172-unit development into 230 newly constructed apartments housed in three modern buildings. Amenities will include a 4,396-square-foot clubhouse, community gardens, a large dog park, covered pavilions, and grilling areas aimed at promoting community engagement and providing access to high-quality affordable housing. The development is expected to be completed within 22 months.
– **UHealth Opens Largest Ambulatory Facility at SoLé Mia**
UHealth – the University of Miami Health System – has opened UHealth SoLé Mia, a seven-story, 363,000-square-foot facility located in South Florida. It is now the largest ambulatory center in UHealth’s network. The facility features the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, South Florida’s only NCI-designated cancer center; the top-ranked Bascom Palmer Eye Institute; and the Desai Sethi Urology Institute, which delivers cutting-edge urologic care.
– **Core Spaces & Harrison Street to Develop Hub Tampa Fowler**
Core Spaces and Harrison Street have partnered to develop Hub Tampa Fowler, a 1,195-bed student housing project near the University of South Florida in Tampa. Located west of USF’s main campus, this purpose-built development will provide students with convenient campus access upon its expected completion in 2027.
