**Real Estate Roundtable’s Q3 Sentiment Index Highlights Growing Executive Confidence**

The Real Estate Roundtable announced that its Q3 2025 Sentiment Index reflects growing confidence among commercial real estate executives, citing stabilized market conditions and the emergence of sector-led growth. The index posted an overall score of 67—up 13 points from the previous quarter—with notable gains in both the Current Index (63) and Future Index (71).

Jeffrey DeBoer, president and CEO of the Real Estate Roundtable, commented on the findings:

“Our Q3 Sentiment Index results show that market conditions have continued to stabilize in a meaningful way, supported by improved supply and demand. Commercial real estate executives are increasingly optimistic that the next 12 months will bring continued improvement. That said, certain property types continue to face headwinds, and capital access remains uneven across markets and sectors. Even so, the prevailing sentiment is that stability is returning and opportunities are emerging.”

Despite ongoing challenges, industry leaders are identifying new avenues for growth, particularly in multifamily housing, data centers, and select office markets.

DeBoer added that recent legislative developments may further accelerate industry momentum. “The provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act should help accelerate this momentum—expanding housing supply, revitalizing communities, spurring job-creating investment nationwide, and strengthening the broader economy. Coupled with improving debt capital availability and stabilizing asset values, these policies set the stage for renewed growth.”

Looking ahead, DeBoer emphasized the need for continued cooperation between industry leaders and policymakers to foster investment, improve credit access, and address persistent supply-demand imbalances in high-need property sectors such as housing.

Jeffrey DeBoer is scheduled to deliver the keynote presentation at Connect Apartments 2025, taking place on September 11 in Los Angeles at the Fairmont Century Plaza. This nationwide, in-person event will bring together leaders in the multifamily real estate sector.
