Westfield Old Orchard Unveils Transformed Lord & Taylor Space
Westfield Old Orchard’s ongoing redevelopment has reached a significant milestone with the transformation of the former Lord & Taylor building.
The revitalized space now features a dynamic mix of experiences, including the recently opened Puttshack, a high-tech mini golf and dining concept. The new addition joins popular retailers such as Arhaus, Pottery Barn, and Zara. These enhancements are part of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s (URW) broader vision to evolve the center into a premier retail and lifestyle destination.
The redevelopment is taking shape through a transformational two-phase plan that includes the construction of more than 600 apartment homes, new street-level retail and restaurant offerings, a public common area with event space, a parking garage, and plans for either a 200-key hotel or additional residential units.
“Our bold new vision for the center will dramatically enhance its offering and further establish it as the preeminent live, work, shop, and play destination on the North Shore,” said Maegen Akers, General Manager of Westfield Old Orchard.
This project marks a major step forward in creating a dynamic mixed-use environment that blends retail, entertainment, hospitality, and residential living—all in one vibrant location.
