McCollister’s Transportation Group has relocated its Atlanta-area base from Norcross to Suwanee, taking up occupancy of the entire 168,584-square-foot Building 100 at Clarion Partners’ Horizon Pointe Park. Located 40 miles northeast of Atlanta and within two miles of Interstate 85, the front-load facility features 32 foot clear heights, 60 foot loading bays with 33 dock doors and 16 levelers. It is also equipped with ESFR sprinkler systems and offers 87 parking spaces.
Lee & Associates Executive Vice President & Principal Joseph Mullican along with NAI President Scott Mertz brokered the lease on behalf of McCollister’s Transportation Group in spite of rising interest rates that have continued to drive high demand for industrial space as well as increasing rental rates across Metro Atlanta (7.3 percent year over year). Nationally rent growth was recorded at 7.1 percent in March 2019 compared to same period last year according to data sources available online .
