**HBRE Selects Erland Construction to Renovate Wakefield Office Cafe**

Erland Construction has been selected by Hobbs Brook Real Estate (HBRE) to undertake the renovation of the cafe located at 601 Edgewater Drive in Wakefield, Massachusetts. The project marks the first collaboration between Erland and HBRE, with Margulies Perruzzi Architects also contributing to the redesign.

The renovation aims to transform the existing cafe and dining area into a modern, welcoming space. Planned upgrades include new finishes, custom millwork, updated lighting, acoustical ceiling tiles, and sprinkler heads. In addition, the team will implement significant modifications to the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. A new outdoor patio adjacent to the cafe is also part of the design, enhancing the overall functionality of the space.

Throughout the renovation process, Erland will coordinate closely with HBRE to ensure that the building’s daily operations remain uninterrupted.

“We are excited to partner with HBRE on this renovation, bringing our expertise to transform the cafe into a space that enhances the employee experience and aligns with HBRE’s commitment to sustainability and innovation,” said Ben McConchie, Corporate Commercial Group Manager at Erland.
