Koeppel Rosen LLC, the leasing and management agent for the Rosen family’s portfolio, has announced a new lease agreement with Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and Montclair Hospitality Group. The 20-year lease is for a 17,642-square-foot space located at 1255 Broadway within the prestigious office building at 1261 Broadway in Midtown South.

The upscale restaurant concept will mark Morimoto’s return to New York City and will occupy the entire ground floor of 1261 Broadway. Max Koeppel, director of leasing at Koeppel Rosen stated that they are thrilled to bring Chef Morimoto’s world-renowned fine dining back to Manhattan with this new location. He also mentioned that securing a long-term lease agreement with such a culinary legend is proof of both the exceptional quality of the building as well as its prime location in Midtown.

Cushman & Wakefield brokers Amy Zhen and Steven Soutendijk represented Morimoto while ownership was represented by Koeppel themselves. This exciting news marks an eagerly awaited comeback for Iron Chef Morimoto in New York City.
