We spoke with Robert Salomon, Dean of Stern at NYUAD to learn more about this exciting new program.

Q: Can you tell us about how this MBA program came to be and what sets it apart from its U.S. counterpart?

A: With rapid economic growth and diversification happening throughout the Middle East region, there is a high demand for business education and skilled professionals who can contribute to its development. This makes it an ideal time for our one-year full-time MBA program at NYU Abu Dhabi which brings together academic excellence from New York University’s prestigious Stern School of Business specifically tailored for MENA region.

While our curriculum closely follows that of our rigorous U.S.-based counterpart, we have added regional focus through experiential internships as well as an accelerated one-year structure. Our students also benefit from spending part of their studies in New York City where they gain valuable skills needed to become future leaders making positive impact not just within UAE but across MENA region too.

Q: Does your student body reflect similar diversity seen at your partner institution?

A: One unique aspect about UAE is its global outlook coupled with diverse demographics which make it attractive destination among international students seeking opportunities within dynamic economies like ours here in UAE or even beyond borders globally speaking! As such being based out here allows us access not only local talent pool but those coming all over world eager explore prospects found right here!
