NAI Hiffman recently facilitated the sale of a 4-acre industrial outdoor storage property located at 2351 Powis Road in West Chicago, Illinois. The property was sold for $4.225 million and includes two buildings with a total of 11,000 square feet of shop and fabrication space, as well as a paved concrete yard that is fenced in and a mobile office trailer.
The brokerage team responsible for this transaction consisted of NAI Hiffman Executive Vice Presidents Kelly Disser and Michael Freitag, Senior Associate Bill Byrne, and Associate Broker TJ Feeney. They represented the seller who was also represented by Disser and Freitag when they originally acquired the property back in September 2023 for $2.4 million.
According to Disser, securing a user for this property in such short time significantly increased its value. However, after further consideration,the potential tenant decided to purchase rather than lease the asset which resulted in nearly double the sale price compared to what it was purchased for just over one year ago.
This successful transaction highlights NAI Hiffman’s expertise in brokering industrial properties within suburban Chicago.
