Shell's Regional HQ to Be New Orleans Office Building with 123K-SF

Shell Plaza, a state-of-the-art eight-story office building, is currently under construction in New Orleans’ highly anticipated River District development. This build-to-suit property spans over 123,941 square feet and will serve as the regional headquarters for Shell. It is also the first Class A office building to be built in the city in over three decades.

The project is a joint venture between Cypress Equities and Lauricella Land Co., with its location at 1600 Convention Center Blvd making it the first vertical development within the 39-acre mixed-use neighborhood adjacent to New Orleans Ernest M. Morial Convention Center.

Expected completion date for Shell Plaza is September of 2026. The four upper floors of this modern structure will offer top-notch amenities and approximately 117,941 square feet of fully leased Class A office space exclusively occupied by Shell.

Capro Capital has provided equity for this project through their real estate private equity firm based out of Las Vegas while Tannenbaum Capital Group Real Estate platform (TCG) originated a senior loan worth $74.5 million towards its funding.

This exciting new addition to New Orleans’ skyline was recently featured on Connect CRE as “123K-SF Office Building Set To Be Regional HQ For Major Corporation”.
