Rising Ground Inc., a human services organization, has recently signed a 15-year lease for 27,147 square feet at 111 Livingston St. in Brooklyn. The new space will serve as the organization’s multi-program hub in Brooklyn and includes the entire 20th floor and part of the 19th floor.
The deal was brokered by Stephen Powers, Lindsay Ornstein, Alexander Smith, and Kendall Elliott of OPEN Impact Real Estate on behalf of Rising Ground. Ownership was represented by their own team. The building offers amenities such as a lobby attendant available around-the-clock and an onsite cogeneration plant that provides its own electricity.
According to Smith, this relocation is part of Rising Ground’s comprehensive portfolio analysis which aims to consolidate their administration staff into one location in Manhattan (1333 Broadway) while transitioning their Brooklyn space into a purposefully designed environment that can support both current programs and future expansion plans. With its professional setting and convenient accessibility for staff members and visitors alike, it is clear why Rising Ground chose to establish its new multi-program hub at 111 Livingston St.
