"Proposal for Mixed-Use Development in North Phoenix by JLB"

JLB Partners, based in Dallas, is joining the wave of proposals seeking to take advantage of the $65 billion Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing plant. They are considering a mixed-use development on Loop 101 in North Phoenix.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, JLB has recently applied for zoning approval from the city of Phoenix for their planned unit development on a 50-acre property at Mayo Boulevard and 64th Street. The proposed project will consist of multiple phases including residential units, hotel rooms, retail space and office space totaling up to 250,000 square feet.

In addition to this project by JLB Partners, Mack Real Estate Group and McCourt Partners have announced plans for a $7 billion master-planned center with over 30 million square feet of commercial space anchored by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.’s project. Nearby construction is also underway for Republic Services Inc.’s new office headquarters campus at CityNorth next to Desert Ridge Marketplace.
