“Brookhill Village Developers Consider Mixed-Use Project”

"Brookhill Village Developers Consider Mixed-Use Project"

The development team of Griffin Brothers Property Services and Quore Real Estate Advisors is seeking to rezone 24 acres in Brookhill Village, located along Remount Road on the outskirts of South End. This rezoning would allow for a variety of uses, including commercial, retail, and additional multifamily developments.

According to the Charlotte Business Journal, Griffin Brothers and Quora have spent the past 1.5 years clearing vacant residential units from the site and rehabilitating the remaining 100 units.

Out of these renovated units, 20 will be designated as transitional housing for families and individuals at risk of homelessness.

Brookhill Village is currently an affordable housing community owned by Brookhill Land Lease Ventures. However, their ground lease agreement will expire in 2049 when ownership reverts back to its original owner. In March 2022, Griffin Brothers took over ownership of this land lease.

This project has been reported on by Connect CRE under “Brookhill Village Developers Looking at Mixed-Use Project.”
