A partnership between PCCP, LLC and Guardian Real Estate Services has purchased The Louisa, a 16-story apartment complex with 242 units located at 123 NW 12th Avenue in Portland’s Pearl District. In addition to the residential units, the property also includes ground-floor retail space spanning over 29,000 square feet and shared ownership of the Brewery Blocks parking garage – one of downtown Portland’s largest garages. Constructed in 2005 on a full city block next to a Whole Foods store, The Louisa is part of the five-block mixed-use development known as Brewery Blocks which features over 1.7 million square feet of retail, housing and office space.
The apartments at The Louisa offer various options including townhomes, studios and one- or two-bedroom layouts. Retail tenants on the ground floor include West Elm Williams Sonoma Frame Central Lululemon ,and The Cookie Dough Cafe . According to Matt Cochran , Managing Director at PCCP,”The location offers an abundance of amenities near major employers making it one of downtown Portland’s most sought-after apartment communities.”
