Dean Dulchinos has been appointed as the managing director and head of real estate credit for ORIX Corporation USA. Based in New York, he will report to Jeff Abrams, the group head of private credit and real estate.
In his new role, Dulchinos will be responsible for expanding ORIX USA’s third-party commercial real estate (CRE) credit asset management business. He will serve as a portfolio manager and develop investment products that utilize the firm’s various real estate businesses such as Lument, a leading national provider of commercial real estate finance solutions. Additionally, he will collaborate with other ORIX USA divisions focused on CRE including Real Estate Capital Group and Boston Financial.
Dulchinos brings over 20 years of experience in building and overseeing global commercial real estate platforms to his new position at ORIX USA. Prior to joining the company, he spent 17 years at Barings/MassMutual companies where he held senior leadership roles in global CRE investing including serving as head of both their debt portfolio management team and capital markets division. He also served as head of structured investments during his time with Barings/MassMutual companies.
