"Local 32BJ and Cole Haan Sign New Lease and Renewal for 11 Years with RXR"

RXR’s 620 Avenue of the Americas, located in the Flatiron District, has recently welcomed a new tenant, SEIU Local 32BJ. In addition to this new lease agreement, existing tenant Cole Haan has renewed their lease for an additional 11 years.

The ground floor of RXR’s building will now be occupied by Local 32BJ with a space spanning over 20,778 square feet. This office will serve as a hub for the union’s large membership base of over 175,000 individuals. Mark Weiss from Cushman and Wakefield represented Local BJ in securing this long-term lease while Daniel Birney handled negotiations on behalf of RXR.

Cole Haan has also decided to stay put at RXR by renewing their current third-floor lease which covers an impressive area of over62,262 square feet. The team from CBRE including Lauren Crowley Corrinet,Adele Huang,Gary Davies,and Silvio Petriello worked together to represent Cole Haan during these negotiations while Daniel Birney once again acted on behalf of RXR.

William Elder,RXR EVP and managing directorof New York City leasing,stated that “620 is rich in history and offers tenants modern infrastructure.” He went on further stating that tenants benefit greatly from spacious floor plans with high ceilings and expansive windows lines making it ideal for both retail purposes as well as easy access to nearby transportation options.
