Rushmark Properties has secured a $48.3 million construction loan from United Bank for the development of Berkeley Commerce Center, a state-of-the-art industrial campus in Summerville, South Carolina. Site preparation is currently underway and Rushmark plans to begin construction on the first two buildings this fall. JLL’s Lee Allen, Kevin Coats, and Tyler Smith will lead leasing and marketing efforts for the project while also assisting with securing the construction loan.

Located along I-26 with direct access to the Port of Charleston via I-95, Berkeley Commerce Center offers prime visibility and connectivity for businesses. The first building will span 505,440 square feet with 2,500 square feet of office space and features a cross-dock configuration with 36-foot clear heights.
