CBRE has facilitated a new office lease at Hines’ 1050 17th Street in Washington, DC. The tenant, Allsteel, is a leading manufacturer of workplace furnishings and architectural products. They have committed to leasing 7,282 square feet on the second floor of this Trophy boutique office building.
The leasing campaign for 1050 17th Street was led by Randy Harrell, Lara Nealon, Joe Coleman and Brittany Gosnell from CBRE who represented Hines in the negotiations. Tucker Farman from JLL represented Allsteel in the transaction.
Harrell commented on the deal saying that “1050 17th Street is one of the premier office addresses in this market and sets a high standard for modern workspaces.” He also highlighted its prime location within the city as well as its elegant design features such as premium air quality and adaptive floor plates that cater to today’s tenants’ needs.
This property spans over eleven stories with a total area of approximately154,000 square feet. Other notable tenants at this building include Davis Polk and Dweck Properties. According to recent data from CBRE’s report on Washington D.C., trophy office spaces are performing exceptionally well with only about12.6% available as of Q2-2024.
