South Street Partners and TPG Real Estate have joined forces to acquire The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort in the Golden Isles. The resort, located on St. Simons Island, will be purchased from MMI Hospitality Group, who has been invested in the property for over four decades. However, MMI Hotel Group’s management division will continue to operate the resort under its new ownership.
The joint venture plans to enhance the resort’s offerings by undertaking a comprehensive renovation of its rooms and common areas. Spanning nearly six acres with direct beach access, The King and Prince offers 142 guest rooms along with various amenities such as bars/restaurants, swimming pools, sports courts,and an 18-hole golf course at The King and Prince Golf Club just a few miles away.
