Haskris Co., a company that specializes in engineered chillers and heat transfer systems, recently acquired an industrial building located near its headquarters in Elmhurst for $5.5 million. The company plans to expand into this new space.
The 37,136-square-foot building at 737 N. Oaklawn Avenue was sold by DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC International Managing Broker George Cibula and Associate Luke Ferzacca on behalf of the sellers. Haskris was represented by Joe Bronson of NAI Hiffman.
According to Ferzacca, the sale happened quickly without having to list the property on the market, demonstrating how valuable high-quality industrial assets are in desirable locations.
The building features 13,920 square feet of office space that can be reduced if needed. It also has a clear height of 14.5′, two exterior docks and one drive-in door for easy access. Additionally, there is ample parking with 60 spaces available and a fenced outdoor storage yard on the site’s spacious 2/94 acres.
This acquisition highlights Haskris’ commitment to expanding its presence in Elmhurst as it continues to grow as a leading manufacturer and distributor within its industry.
