"Biopharma Firm Moves Headquarters from Manhattan to LIC"

Inspirna, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing cancer treatments, is moving its headquarters from Manhattan to the outer boroughs. The company has signed a sublease for 7,302 square feet of office space at the Alexandria Center for Life Science in Long Island City, NY. This move will allow Inspirna to expand its offices and lab space from their current location at the NY Blood Center Building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

The sublease negotiations were handled by CBRE’s Joseph DeRosa and John Isaacs on behalf of Inspirna.

According to DeRosa, “Inspirna was seeking a more suitable location with access to a dedicated life science ecosystem.” After conducting extensive market research, they were able secure an advantageous below-market rate for their client in this top-tier life science facility.”

Isaacs added that “the Alexandria Center for Life Science offers not only an ideal location but also specific scientific amenities crucial to Inspirna’s operations – features that are currently only available in select buildings throughout New York City.”
