Hilco Real Estate (HRE) has recently expanded its real estate receivership practice with the addition of experienced industry professionals. The firm, based in Northbrook, IL, has hired Matthew Mason as Senior Vice President and he will be bringing a team with him to HRE.
Mason brings 24 years of experience in real estate and fiduciary services to HRE. He has a strong background in assisting institutional clients, lenders, and private investors with distressed real estate projects. Additionally, he has served as a court-appointed receiver for over 200 retail, office,multifamily industrial , hotel,and mixed-use properties.
Joining Mason at HRE are Andrew Streeter who specializes in asset management for distressed assets through takeover and disposition processes; Robert Jones who brings over 20 years of experience in asset management including property management,negotiation,and disposition;and Spencer Ruberti who possesses more than 15 years of expertise specifically focused on commercial real estate receiverships.
