"UT Dallas Student Housing Project Approved in Richardson for Much-Needed Accommodation"

A new student housing project is in the works near The University of Texas at Dallas campus, with developers seeking to meet the high demand for housing among its 30,000 students. This development spans 13 acres and is situated between Waterview Parkway and President George Bush Turnpike, just a mile away from campus.

The Richardson city has approved plans for this project by ZoneDev on behalf of owners George Bush Highway Investment LLC and Affordable Space Rental. It will feature 340 units with a total of 534 beds in various configurations ranging from one to five bedrooms. Additionally, there will be five live-work units spanning over 8,000 square feet within the building.

With an expected increase of over 4,200 students by 2030 at UT Dallas alone, it is clear that more than ever before there is a pressing need for additional student housing options in this area. As such, this much-needed development comes as welcome news to both current and future students alike.
