International design firm Ware Malcomb has recently announced the promotion and hiring of key leaders at its Irvine headquarters. Sergio Valentini has been elevated to Southern California Regional Principal, overseeing offices in Irvine, Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire. Luke Corsbie has also been promoted to Principal for Civil Engineering while Analisa Olson will now lead as Director of the Interior Architecture & Design Studio. Eric Namisniak is now Studio Manager for Architecture and Andrew Capeluto joins as Studio Manager for Branding. Additionally, several promotions have been made within Ware Malcomb’s enterprise teams including Ilyes Nouizi as Resource Services Principal, Jessica McInnis as Associate Accounting Principal, Donna Connole as Marketing Director and Remy Fukuda as Human Resources Director.

John Maddux will be transitioning from his role of Co-founder and CEO at Sunstone Two Tree on June 18th 2024 to serve a three-year term mission president with The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints in Costa Rica San Jose West Mission. Current President Scott Maddux will take over the position based at their Westlake Village headquarters.

Calabasas-based retail shopping center owner NewMark Merrill Companies Inc., has promoted Chuck Moore to regional property manager where he’ll oversee management responsibilities for more than 1.5 million square feet across San Diego County including notable shopping centers like Piazza Carmel and Grand Plaza.

Ryan Ouyang joins Balfour Beatty’s Culver City team serving seven years prior with a multinational infrastructure consulting firm before joining Balfour Beatty where he’ll act VP Legal U.S Civils West operations responsible coordinating legal affairs between California Oregon Washington General Counsel roles along with Ethics/Compliance Officer Contracts Management experience within heavy civil construction companies around Los Angeles area .

Westlake Village-based Energy Vault Holdings Inc., partners up architecture engineering firm Skidmore Owings & Merrill (SOM) forming an exclusive global partnership focused on gravity energy storage systems. SOM will be the exclusive architect and structural engineer for all new Energy Vault systems including incorporating this technology into tall urban buildings and deployable structures in natural environments to increase sustainability, lower carbon footprint, and reduce energy costs.
