"Chicago's South Side Health Center Receives $122M Grant for Opening"

The Center for Better Aging (CBA) at St. Bernard Hospital is a unique healthcare collaboration that will open in July to cater to the growing population of aging adults on Chicago’s Greater South Side. Thanks to a $122.5 million grant from the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, this state-of-the-art facility will serve as a central hub for medical care and community outreach.

Equipped with advanced diagnostic technology and newly renovated ambulatory care center, St. Bernard Hospital offers primary and urgent care, emergency services, diagnostics, and geriatric pharmacy services all under one roof.

St. Bernard Hospital has partnered with DL3 Realty based in downtown Chicago to secure the grant funding for CBA’s nonprofit operations as well as renovate the hospital through capital investments, enhance access through digital investments, and bolster the healthcare workforce on Chicago’s South Side.

This groundbreaking project is set to revolutionize healthcare delivery in this region without any mention of specific brands or organizations involved.
