Valley "Building a Mass Timber Facility in Willamette Valley: The Timberlab Project"

Timberlab Inc., a nationwide provider of comprehensive mass timber systems, has announced plans to construct and operate a cutting-edge cross-laminated timber (CLT) manufacturing facility in the mid-Willamette region of Oregon. The proposed 250,000-square-foot facility will cater to the increasing demand for sustainable construction alternatives across the country.

The state-of-the-art CLT manufacturing plant is expected to produce 100,000 cubic meters of finished products annually through automated processes. This venture is projected to generate around 100 new jobs at full capacity and will be one of the largest facilities in the United States.

Located in Oregon’s mid-Willamette Valley, this project aligns with Timberlab’s partnership with renowned academic research programs at institutions such as Oregon State University, University of Oregon and Tall Wood Design Institute. The area serves as a prime location for Pacific Northwest Mass Timber Tech Hub – an initiative dedicated towards promoting mass timber technology advancements.

This development by Timberlab marks another significant step towards revolutionizing sustainable construction practices without compromising on quality or efficiency.
