VIDA Coworking is adding a third location in the Portland area, planning a new space inside the historic Montgomery Park building. The company, which has focused on community-oriented coworking environments in the region for seven years, is extending its model to another Portland neighborhood as it grows its regional footprint.
The new site, branded as VIDA NW PDX, is scheduled to open this October in Portland’s Slabtown neighborhood. The coworking hub will occupy 10,000 square feet within Montgomery Park and is designed to serve small business owners, entrepreneurs, and professional women who are seeking flexible office solutions and shared amenities in a communal setting.
VIDA’s Slabtown opening will complement the operator’s existing coworking communities in the Portland metro area. Current locations include a site at 401 N.E. 19th Avenue in Portland and another in Beaverton at 9400 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Highway. Together, these locations reflect VIDA’s ongoing emphasis on building local, community-focused workspaces across multiple submarkets in and around Portland.
The Montgomery Park location will feature private offices and dedicated desks, along with a set of on-site amenities intended to support daily users of the space. According to the announcement, these will include a fitness studio, conference rooms, and bike storage, providing a range of work and wellness options within the leased premises.
The lease transaction at Montgomery Park involved representation on both the landlord and tenant sides. Newmark’s Josh Schweitz, Travis Parrott, and Trozell Benware represented landlord Menashe Properties in the deal. On the tenant side, SVN-Bluestone’s Stacy Looney represented VIDA Coworking in negotiating the lease. Menashe Properties previously purchased the Montgomery Park building in 2024 for $33 million, adding the historic property to its portfolio.
With the planned October opening, Montgomery Park is set to gain a new coworking presence that adds flexible, amenity-rich space to the building’s tenant mix. For VIDA Coworking, the Slabtown expansion continues the firm’s strategy of growing within the Portland metro area by adding locations that serve distinct neighborhoods and professional communities.
