Levi Williamson has joined CREC Real Estate, LLC as Director of Business Development. With a 17-year track record of raising capital across numerous private and public investment vehicles, Williamson will focus on fundraising and developing relationships with institutional investors and financial intermediaries in North America and globally.
Most recently, he served as Director of Business Development at Optima Asset Management LLC, a $1.8 billion hedge fund responsible for fundraising in the U.S. and Canada; prior to that role he was a director of intermediary distribution at BMO Global Asset Management’s U.S arm where his efforts raised over $4.5 billion from institutional investors such as pension funds, sovereign wealth funds endowments foundations family offices etc.. He holds Master’s degree in Accounting & Financial Management from Keller Graduate School Of DeVry University along with Bachelor’s degree In Economics & management From Ohio Wesleyan University .
This addition to the team is expected to support CREC’s growing multifamily investment platform which is already making waves within the real estate industry
