Nonprofit Finds New Loop Headquarters with Transwestern's Guidance

Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announced that Heartland Alliance, a Chicago-based non-profit organization focused on addressing poverty’s root causes, has signed a 20,941-square-foot lease at 55 East Monroe. This 1.3 million square foot building is located in the heart of Chicago’s Loop district. Executive managing director Andrew Davidson and EVP David Burkards provided tenant advisory services to Heartland Alliance throughout the process.

The company will relocate from 208 South LaSalle to 55 East Monroe later this year with remote work trends and a tenant favorable market allowing them to downsize while upgrading their space through taking up residence in one of the new spec suites available at 55 East Monroe. “It was important for us to find an owner and building that would excite their employees,” said Davidson, “especially given recent developments at Heartland’s current location which plans on being converted into residential.” Christian Domin with Glenstar represented ownership during negotiations for this deal..
