Logistics Property Company has secured a major lease at CityPark Logistics Center in Missouri City, Texas, where Standex GRID / Amran Instrument Transformers will occupy a large build-to-suit facility. The tenant has committed to 217,758 square feet in Building 7 at the industrial park, with the space designed to function as both a warehouse and manufacturing facility.
CityPark Logistics Center spans 98 acres and is positioned in the Southwest Houston area. The industrial park currently comprises five fully leased buildings totaling more than one million square feet of space, underscoring its traction with logistics and industrial users. The new build-to-suit for Standex GRID / Amran will expand the park’s footprint and is planned as the company’s largest North American location.
Construction on the build-to-suit warehouse is underway, with delivery targeted for the second quarter of 2027. The project is being tailored to accommodate Standex GRID / Amran’s specific operational requirements, including office, production, and manufacturing functions within a single facility. The flexibility to design a customized layout was a key factor in the tenant’s selection of CityPark Logistics Center, in addition to the park’s location in the Southwest Houston area.
On the advisory side, Cushman & Wakefield professionals Beau Kaleel and Brooke Swerdlow were involved in the transaction. Standex GRID / Amran was represented by Steve King and Wesley King of CBRE, reflecting institutional brokerage involvement on the tenant side of the deal.
The development team for the build-to-suit project includes several established firms. Burton Construction is serving as the general contractor for Building 7, overseeing construction progress toward the planned 2027 completion. Powers Brown has been engaged as the project architect, responsible for designing a facility that supports both warehouse and manufacturing uses. Pape Dawson is providing civil engineering services, contributing site and infrastructure expertise to support the new industrial building within the broader 98-acre logistics park.
Once completed, the Standex GRID / Amran facility will add another fully customized, large-format industrial building to CityPark Logistics Center, further building out the park’s scale in the Southwest Houston industrial corridor. The combination of long-term build-to-suit leasing and a fully leased existing building inventory highlights continued user demand for modern industrial space in this location.
